Wedding Invitations

Before ordering your wedding stationery, there is a lot to think through, such as what items of stationery you require, how many of each one etc. There are countless items of wedding stationery including, day invitations, evening invitations, reply cards, thank you cards, as well as items for the table which can be matching such as serviettes, serviette rings, place cards and many more. Initially the most important items to think of first are the invitations and reply cards. Once you have decided on your guest list and you know how many invitations you require, it is a good idea to add ten to the quantity you order, this will cover you should any be spoilt when completing them, plus if you get any unable to attend replies, you have some spare should you decide to invite someone else. When deciding on the numbers, remember that only 1 invitation is sent to a couple, and often if the whole family is being invited 1 invitation may be sufficient.

Once the quantity of invitations is known, remember not to leave the ordering until the last minute, you must have time to fill them out and post them, in time for the guest to send an RSVP, as this could affect arrangements you may have for the wedding breakfast. Other items can be ordered closer to the wedding day, but not left too late that you finish up in a panic.
