Wedding Planning

So you have taken the plunge and decided to get married, 'Congratulations'. When the euphoria dies down and you suddenly think, 'Whose going to do the wedding planning', don't let this dampen your enthusiasm. Remember you have your partner and your families to support and help you in this seemingly daunting task. But it does not have to be daunting, with the right organisation, wedding planning can be both pleasurable and not too difficult.

It is an important part of wedding planning, that you sort out what needs to be done first, obviously deciding on a date, booking the ceremony and booking a venue for the reception should be done as a group, as booking the ceromony and then finding out the venue you had your heart set on for the reception is not available on that day is extremely dissappointing.

Once this is done, it is a good idea to set tasks for each month working on a priority format, for example wedding stationery has to be ordered in time to enable it to be printed, giving you time to write the invitations, and send them out giving plenty of time for the RSVP's. However there are more pressing issues before thinking of the stationery, remember wedding planning is all about prioritising the tasks in hand.

If you feel that you require guidance for your wedding planning, there are websites and books, and ebooks available with step by step instructions.
